Software Development Engineer (Big Data/AI Platform)

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing our core big data and AI platform components. This role involves working on scalable, high-performance systems that support a wide range of applications, from data analytics to machine learning inference. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and researchers to deliver robust and efficient solutions.

Design and implement core components of Alibaba Cloud's big data and AI platforms. Develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable software systems. Optimize existing systems for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams to define and deliver new features. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, C++, Python, or Go. Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms. Familiarity with distributed systems and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Flink). Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud) is a plus. Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
