About the Role

Together with GZERO Media, they offer a comprehensive political risk solution with offices worldwide. This role is for a highly skilled Senior Analyst focusing on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. The primary objective is to deliver analysis on economic projects and transformational initiatives within the GCC region, exploring national visions, investment, regulatory, and business frameworks. The ideal candidate will excel in both research and client engagement, effectively conveying complex analyses. The position has a strong preference for candidates based in the Middle East, specifically the UAE or Saudi Arabia, to leverage on-the-ground insights.

Responsibilities

- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on economic and political developments in the Arab Gulf, with a focus on long-term investment projects and transformations - Provide insights on regulatory changes and business framework advancements that influence investment priorities in the GCC region - Produce well-structured analytical reports and thought leadership pieces, translating complex information into accessible insights for clients - Engage directly with clients, understanding their needs, offering tailored advice, and developing meaningful relationships to support business development efforts - Collaborate with the broader Eurasia Group team to ensure the integration of regional insights into global political risk analysis and client solutions - Support Business Development activities by identifying opportunities and facilitating client interactions

Requirements

- At least 7 years of relevant experience focusing on the MENA region, particularly the GCC countries - Strong writing skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in both written and verbal formats - Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships - Preference for candidates currently located in the region (UAE or Saudi Arabia) - An advanced degree in political science, economics, international relations, or a related field is preferred - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines - Fluency in English and Arabic is required
