As an Account Executive, you will focus on selling Airwallex's Acquiring, Card, FX & Payment API products to various industries like eCommerce, marketplaces, and online travel agents. The role requires a tech-savvy individual with a passion for payments and a strong drive to succeed, focusing on delivering impactful results for SME clients. You will be part of a dynamic fintech sales team, contributing to growth and innovation in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

Proactively hunt and pursue fresh business opportunities throughout New Zealand, leveraging your existing network, experience, and strategic prospecting in the SME segment. Own and drive the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing for new logos. Negotiate partnership agreements and commercial contracts with legal, finance, and strategy teams through execution. Build and manage a robust and reliable pipeline and help define best practices that will be the foundation for the NZ sales team.

Requirements

You are a skilled seller with 3+ years of experience, eager to achieve new business growth. You possess exceptional communication and rapport-building skills, both over the phone and in person. You have proven success in tech sales, driving market share expansion. You thrive on independence and take initiative, committed to delivering results. You are collaborative, working closely with various teams and customers to deliver world-class solutions. You are a strong communicator, comfortable conversing with diverse individuals, including tech experts. You simplify complexity, with excellent solution-selling skills and an ability to provide tailored approaches. You take full responsibility for achieving outcomes, hitting KPIs, and reaching revenue targets. You have a track record of carrying quotas and selling solutions. You are detail-oriented, crafting winning proposals and brainstorming creative solutions.
